Client Testimonials

“Charlie and I got involved in Lone Peak’s weight loss program when Dr. Adair suggested maybe Charlie could lose some weight, like 20 lbs or so. This program was so excellent. Jess ran it and we saw her every 4-6 weeks. Charlie was weighed at every visit even though she tried to cheat sometimes by putting her butt on the wall behind her. To begin with we were given informational papers talking about what she could eat in addition to her new food, Metabolic and Mobility. It was great information because it contained amounts and types of food she could have. There was also a food diary that we wrote in to get the hang of what to do. Exercise was also included in their recommendation. Charlie met her goal in about 8 months. I feel she is now much healthier and her joints have a better chance at keeping her zoomie moments alive. She also was awarded a certificate and medal (which we framed and is proudly displayed in our kitchen. This veterinarian practice cares about your pet’s health. I highly recommend participating in this weight loss program. It is the best.”

“Apollo is a 3 year old Black Lab belonging to my uncle, his son and granddaughter. When I 1st met Apollo he was the sweetest boy, but I noticed how large he was and having dogs myself that I compete with, I knew he size was not healthy. It was a warm day and it seemed he was laboring just to pant. I talked to my uncle and said we should get him checked out from my vet and on a weight loss plan, he agreed. After the health exam and news that Apollo was healthy enough to go through a weight loss plan, we got set up with Jessica. Apollo weighed in at 121 pounds! Jessica mentioned he should be between 85 to 90 pounds. So at minimum Apollo was 31 pounds overweight! Jessica explained the importance of proper weight, especially with a heavy boned dog such as a lab. The extra weight could cause all kinds of issues, not only to his heart, but his joints too. She set us a plan and monitored Apollo every 5 weeks at his weigh in appointments. She was always as thrilled to see him as he was to see her! Apollo is now at 90 pounds and his family says he has so much more energy and doesn’t labor like before. The compassion and care Jessica showed to Apollo and us made the journey seamless. Jessica and all the staff at Lone Peak are all great and are always supportive. We are so appreciative for all they do and now Apollo is on the road to live a long healthy life with his family!”
