Our Veterinary Technicians
Jessica Jessica has been on the Lone Peak team since Fall, 2004. She received her Associate degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from the Utah Career College. In addition to her technician duties, she is our technician team leader. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. Jessica has two dogs and three cats. |
Janna Janna has been at Lone Peak since 2000. Janna worked on an ambulance crew, as an Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.) prior to coming to Lone Peak. Janna enjoys taking veterinary medicine continuing education classes. In her free time, Janna likes listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with friends & family. Janna has a horse named Athena, a Chocolate Lab named Hope, a Main Coon cat named Niles, and a Border Collie named Sammy. Sammy is a flyball champion. |
Braxton Braxton has been with Lone Peak since 2005. He graduated from Riverton High School where he participated in the Jordan Applied Technology Center Veterinary Technician Program. Braxton is continuing his education at Salt Lake Community College. Braxton loves to hunt, fish, ride four-wheelers, and work on his truck. Braxton has a younger sister and brother. Braxton has a strong work ethic which he attributes to his mother and father. Braxton has a Black Lab, a Lhasa Apso, and a Shih Tzu. |
Michelle Michelle has been with Lone Peak since 2007. She graduated from the Jordan Applied Technology Center Veterinary Technician program. Michelle is continuing her education at the University of Utah where she is studying business. Michelle loves horseback riding, outdoor activities, traveling, teaching skin care and make up application. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her pets. |
Nancy Nancy has been with Lone Peak since Spring, 2006. Nancy started a second career as a veterinary technician after working more than 25 years as a journalist at the Salt Lake Tribune. She is married and has two grown daughters. Nancy's has two cats, Pele, and Sophie, and a dog named Pearl. |
Adam Adam started at Lone Peak in 2008. Adam graduated from Riverton High School, has taken courses at Salt Lake Community College and received his Veterinary Technician certification from Utah Career College. Adam has two years of previous veterinary technician experience prior to joining the Lone Peak team. Adam loves life and enjoys almost anything outdoors. Adam grew up on a farm and has vast experience with many different types of animals. Adam enjoys spending time with family and friends. He has thirty cows, two dogs, and two cats. |
Shaye Shaye started at Lone Peak in 2008 and comes to us with over two and a half years of prior veterinary medical experience. Shaye is very energetic, loves to be around all types of people, enjoys playing games, and playing the flute. Shaye has a cat named Cambria. |
Krissy Krissy has been a veterinary technician since 2009. She earned an associates degree in Applied Science of Veterinary Technology from the Bel-Rea Institute in Denver, Colorado. She has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and is working toward becoming a physical therapist. Krissy loves playing sports and being outdoors. She is the aunt to two dogs, Scooby and Emee, but considers them her own. |
Tara Tara has been a Veterinary Technician since 2004. She has two children, a boy and a girl. She enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with her children. Tara has a wide variety of interests in veterinary medicine and has experience treating both large and small animals. |
